Welcome to our Summer Camp
The Well offers an innovative facility, caring teachers and a fun summer curriculum. Kids enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences, including an indoor sandbox, playground, turf room, science, arts, “Wellie Workouts”, growing a garden and eating from it, cooking, baking and much more. We have large spaces with small group sizes, so we can have more attention to each child. Whether it’s our summer camp or our regular school session, our mission is to instill confidence in our Wellies, preparing them for their next great adventure.
Week of 06/15: The Great Outdoors
Let’s kick off this summer the best way possible and soak up all the great outdoors has to offer! This week campers will explore and enjoy all things outside as they build friendships and settle into summer. Please note that the Well will be closed for our staff professional development (and a deep clean of the school) on Monday, June 14, so there will not be camp this day.
Week of 06/21: Minute to Win It
After our campers ease into the summer days, we will ramp up the energy with fun team-building games and activities!
Week of 06/28: Planting, Sowing & Growing
Campers will get down in the dirt this week as we weed, prep and plant our classroom garden!
Week of 07/06 (no camp on Monday, 07/05): Sconnie Pride
Let’s celebrate all things Badger State! Campers are encouraged to rep their Sconnie pride this week: wear any sports team gear or colors, or anything else that shows our collective love of America’s Dairyland! Please note that we will be closed on Monday, 7/5 in observance of Independence Day.
Week of 07/12: Time to Shine
This week campers will take the spotlight to showcase their hidden (and sometimes not-so-hidden) talents!
Week of 07/19: Sports Spotlight
We will KICK summer into full GEAR this week as we AIM to work as a team, meet our GOALS, and PLAY all kinds of fun new sports!
Week of 07/26: Amazing Animals
This week campers will explore wildlife from the jungle to the ocean and everything in between.
Week of 08/02: Messy Minds
Dress your camper for a week full of messy fun as we paint, mash and explore mud, pudding, shaving cream and so much more!
Week of 08/09: Aquatic Adventures
With only a few weeks left of summer, we will take this time to soak up all the fun under the sun we can with extra water days and splashy celebrations!
Week of 08/16: Colorful Creations!
Wellies will transform from sun-screened sun bums to fine artists during this week’s creative adventure!
Week of 08/23: Space Camp
We will launch into the week and explore the great wonders of outer space!
Week of 08/30: Spirit Week
We will send off summer with a different dress-up theme each day! Campers will vote on the themes the week prior.
Our days will include free play on our Imagination Playground, indoor sandbox and green AstroTurf area. We will have guided indoor and outdoor activities, which include group games, water play, arts & crafts, music, dancing, cooking and science. Kids will be able to be part of planting the Well’s garden, harvesting the produce and using it to create nutritious snacks! We will spend a lot of our time outdoors, as much as the weather allows. Some of our activities will require kids to use their writing, math and reading skills, and everything will be done in a fun and playful environment that supports each child’s skill level. We will offer a morning and an afternoon snack, and lunch comes from home.
